‘‘Coming from a business and shop-owner background, I know how much the
Capital owes to this sector. My approach is to always defend the private initiative and to support the individual from the administrative weight, which can be sometimes oppressive. I also know that free entrepreneurship is the only way to create real jobs, that are likely to offer emancipation and prosperity for all. In all the developpement projects for Brussels, I wish to emphasise the active participation of the private sector and renovation of traditional shopcenters.
Taking the challenge of the economical progress and urban redeployment garantees the social cohesion and a better-living. It is faith into the human being that gives
liberals the will to support democratic and supportive aspirations.’’
